Ann catered a champagne and Canapés birthday party for me in March of this year, there were 40 guests and I must say her beautiful Canapés were absolutely delicious and looked exquisite. We come from Switzerland, I genuinely feel Ann’s food is comparable to the excellent offerings available to us there. I highly recommend her
Chef Anne was an amazing chef who truly made our bush experience unforgettable. Her food was fantastic and she was exceptionally accommodating to our requirements for strictly kosher food. Anne de Jager and her team of two ladies catered my birthday wine and Canapés party for 45 people. At the beginning of 2021, I was able to discover Chef Ann’s cooking skills. As a vegan, I was a bit afraid that it would be difficult with the food for me in the land of the braai, but nothing could be further from the truth. I enjoyed the falafel with cauliflower puree, delicious curry and risotto and desserts like pannacotta, mango coconut ice cream and pancakes with caramelized banana. It was all so delicious. Thank you Ann for spoiling us so culinary!

As we were searching for a Private Chef at our Ubuntu Luxury Villa, we were contacted by Ann de Jager a.k.a. Chef on Safari. We immediately felt a nice click and Ann was really proactive in her approach which we liked a lot! Soon after our first online video meeting, we received a request from our guests to arrange a private chef for their stay at our villa. This was a special request because of a birthday breakfast for the lady and an engagement dinner requested by the man, where he would propose to his lady to marry him! We contacted Ann to see if she was available as it was quite a last-minute request. Ann was quick in her response which resulted in a nice offer to arrange a birthday breakfast with a special cake and a 2-course dinner with a special “Will you marry me” dessert. We highly recommend Ann / Chef on Safari and we can’t wait to meet her in person and experience her services ourselves!

I would recommend every visitor to Hoedspruit to use their services for transfers to and from the airport, and for arranging safaris and outings! They are punctual, friendly, and efficient. My Kruger safari was also a fantastic experience; we had a very good guide who made every effort to make our trip one to remember.
The most exquisite fine dining experience last night of a 3 course vegan meal! My friend Stijn arranged for Chef Ann to come and prepare the meal for us at my place, and wow the attention to detail and quality of the food were incredible! The table was beautifully decorated by Ann’s team, and all the food was prepared from scratch. Every course was unique and so delicious that even Stijn & his girlfriend who are not vegan thoroughly enjoyed it! Descriptions of each dish with the photo’s.
